Can I change the content of an advertisement after I sign up for it?

Yes, indeed. Any new advertisements will use the information from your current advertising profile, but you can always come back later and change the information for individual ads on your Advertising Info page.

Do you have any tips on writing a Full Tweet Ad?

The most important thing to remember is that your Full Tweet Ad Text should contain a way to contact you. It could be your email address, your Twitter @username, your website URL, or your phone number.

It may also help to include a promotion code or special discount with your advertisement, so you can track the success of the campaign.

Can I track the Click Through Rate of my Happn.in Ads?

Yes you can. While we don't offer an analytic service within Happn.in, you can use a bit.ly link in your ad to track Click Through Rates (CTR). bit.ly is a URL shortening service that allows you to create links that point back to your own website and can track CTRs of your links.

Here's what you do: First, you need to create a bit.ly account. It's free. Next, enter the URL you want to use with Happn.in and get a shortened link.

Once you've create your bit.ly link (which points back to your own website); insert that into your Happn.in ad. Any time someone clicks through from your ad, it will be recorded through bit.ly. When you log in to your bit.ly account, you can see how many click throughs you get.

Is my payment information secure?

Yes it is. Since we use Paypal as our Payment Processor, we don't store any credit card information on our site, and your personal information is handled by Paypal's secure servers.

I run a non-profit or charitable foundation. Can I have some free advertising?

Sure! First, sign up for a Happn.in Advertising Account, and set up your Sponsorship Information and/or Full Tweet Ad Text. Then, send an email to jay@happn.in that contains:

  1. Some information about your organization (a link to your website is fine)
  2. The cities in which you'd like your message to appear
